Special 100th Anniversary Celebration of Grand Old Opry!!

Join us as we help to celebrate the 100th birthday of the iconic Grand Old Opry and have a chance to explore the life of one of Country’s biggest stars, Johnny Cash!! Our first day’s travel will see us checking into the fabulous Gaylord Opryland Hotel, with amazing, landscaped gardens throughout the nine indoor acres and 57 outdoor acres here. Breakfast will be included all three mornings here at the resort. This evening will be the highlight of our tour with dinner backstage at the Opry in famed Studio A, along with a visit from one of the performers while we dine! You will also receive a show poster and pin and premier floor seats for tonight’s show (Performers, as always, TBA). Our next exciting day will include a behind the scenes tour of the Opry followed by a trip to downtown Nashville for lunch at a place of your choice with plenty of time to take in the bands at the Honky Tonks on North Broadway. This afternoon will include a tour of the Mother Church, The Ryman Auditorium, where the Opry was born. You will return to the Gaylord in time to enjoy dinner on your own at any of the many eateries. Day 3 will be another of the excitement of country music history as we travel into the nearby countryside to tour Hideaway Farm, where Johnny Cash spent 30 years of his life, and nearby Storytellers where he and June held concerts for locals every weekend and where the famous “One Piece at a Time” Cadillac is housed. Heading back downtown with a chance to lunch at Jonny Cash’s Bar and Barbeque, this afternoon we’ll tour the Johnny Cash Museum. After returning to the Gaylord, our dinner tonight will be included at nearby Paula Deen’s Restaurant. Our last day, after breakfast, will find us heading north with one more exciting stop in Newport, KY for an included lunch at Hofbräuhaus. Mid evening will find us back home. This truly is a once in a lifetime tour opportunity! We hope you can join us.
